Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add products to a store? Tap the camera button or “Add shelf photo” on any store page. Point your camera at a store shelf and ShelfScout’s AI will automatically identify and add all visible products.

Why don’t I see my local store on the map? If your store isn’t showing, you can add it manually. On the Map tab, tap “Add a store” and follow the steps to pin its location.

A product was incorrectly identified. How do I fix it? Go to the store’s shelf viewer, find the product in the list, and tap it. You’ll see options to correct the product name or adjust its location on the shelf photo.

How do I delete a product that shouldn’t be there? In the shelf viewer, swipe left on any product to remove it.

How do I delete my account? To request account deletion and removal of your data, please email us at the address below. We will process your request within 30 days.

The app isn’t finding stores near me. Try tapping “Search this area” on the Map tab after navigating to your neighborhood. This triggers a fresh search for stores in the visible map area.

My shelf photo failed to upload. Make sure you have a stable internet connection and try again. Shelf photo analysis requires an active connection.
